About AfriTrade

AfriTrade is an online marketplace built for Africa. The platform brings local sellers, regional warehouses, and international suppliers together in one catalog. Shoppers compare prices in dollars, order in minutes, and get delivered at home or to a pickup point.

It is built first for African shoppers who want to order online with confidence: every displayed price includes import fees and taxes, delivery is charged at checkout, payment is by mobile money or on delivery, and buyer protection lets you open a dispute up to seven days after delivery. It also serves merchants and content creators: each seller runs their shop, products, orders, and wallet from a dedicated space, while creators earn a commission on sales driven by their referral code.

The platform is developed and operated by the AfriTrade team, based in Africa. Our goal is to make online commerce accessible to as many people as possible, with tools designed for local realities: low-bandwidth connections, mobile money payment, urban delivery, and pickup point collection.
